The Story of Blow Away Bob

Bob in the storm with his umbrella
The mighty storm was soaking the ground,
It was drizzle and rain, wet all around,
it was cold and windy, a dark and gray day...
But Bob thought different: "hip hip hooray!
It's splendid outside, a good day to roam!"
So when he should have just stayed safely at home,
he wandered out in the fields, to do some splashing,
with his hat and umbrella, and some snail smashing

Bob in the storm with his umbrella The wind whooped and howled a terrible sound,
bent the big trees all the way to the ground,

The wind swooped up and grabbed his umbrella,
he was just carried away, the unluckly little fella,
He was getting scared and like a bad dream,
he yelled out loud but no one heard his scream,
he held on in fear as his dilemma grew,
the ground got smaller and he lost his hat too.

Bob in the storm with his umbrella
Bob flew to the clouds, going this way and that,
led the whole time by his little green hat,
he went farther than far and higher than high,
he vanished away, a spec in the sky.
where the wind led him, who can dare say?
but no one saw him again after that gray day.
