make your own coffin!

Yup, that's my coffin. It's only 8 inches long and 5 or so wide. You see, a freak nuclear accident reduced me to the size of a Skipper doll...Okay, okay. The real story is...I saw a coffin purse in Hot Topic and thought, "Hey, I could make one something like that."

It was actually bury easy. :)

coffin purse on mannequin Went home, nabbed a nearby box of Fruit Loops, some velvet and a few other supplies and a little while (and a large mess) very own coffin purse.

As you can see, this one's pretty small, not good for much more than an evening bag...but just find yourself a bit more cardboard or thin plastic, scale up the basic idea, and make it whatever size you want. Heck, get a few refrigerator boxes and make yourself matching luggage. Think of the look on that flight attendant's face as you try to cram your coffin in an overhead bin...

If you're really good at wrapping presents, this will be easy for you. If you're better at tearing into presents than wrapping them, you might want to have a neat friend make you one!

I've been experimenting with all sorts of sizes and fabrics, and will be adding more pix here in the days to come, so stay tuned. Let me know if you have any questions or need further instructions -- and do send pictures of your own coffin creations, I'll post 'em here for all to see!
